Hey everyone. If you don't know me, I used to be AKtrollin. The wiki has been inactive, yes, but trust me, I'm always checking the wiki to make sure everything is okay. If you have any questions, be sure to just ask me. I'll respond, I just haven't been editing this wiki much.

On July 23, Ubisoft Shanghai released a patch for I AM Alive that fixed minor graphical errors, and the respawning of the Wine victim. This is a great thing for the game, as the respawning bug allowed for an extra unfair two percent Score. It is good to see the I AM Alive is still being updated.

I Am Alive has received a major amount of fame on the Xbox Live Martetplace as it placed 6th on the Top Ten Most Wanted Downloadable Content for March 2012. This is great news for I Am Alive and may cause the developers at Ubisoft Shanghai to add-on to their great arcade game and possibly release an unrelated sequel to I Am Alive. Let us give a round of applause to I Am Alive for achieving this status!
It turns out I was actually incorrect and I AM Alive actually achieved #1! A great feat for the game.Read more >

The Dust, Danger and Despair of I Am AliveThere's a moment near the start of Cormac McCarthy's gripping post-apocalyptic novel The Road when a father holds up a gun to protect his son. Their lives hang by a thread—their assailant is alone, but his friends are near, and if the man pulls the trigger, he and his son will doubtless be discovered. And unbeknownst to their assailant, the man has only two bullets, and will likely never find a third. It's one of the most screamingly tense scenes I've ever encountered in fiction—there are so many things that could go wrong, and only one thing that could go right. The awful, doomed desperatio…
This blog post can be used to put big development news about I Am Alive
In an interview with the International Herald Tribune, Ubisoft's Chief Executive Yves Guillemot revealed a new title in development called Alive. The game will be set in a earthquake and will involve the player using his/her intincts to survive.
"It's more oriented toward drama, more life in characters, more depth," said Guillemot. "It's still about surviving, but you can't resolve things by shooting only." Guillemot refers to this softer, more feminine style of gaming as "action plus."
It is now said that Darkworks will develope it individualily, but it will be published by Ubisoft.
Close E3 2008, French website Gamekyo says that Jade Raymond and the team at Ubisoft will te…

Just days after I Am Alive made an appearance on the ESRB website, Ubisoft has confirmed the game will be released this Winter as a downloadable title on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. I Am Alive appears to have gone through a few changes since its original incarnation. Back in 2008, the game centered around the immediate aftermath of an earthquake in Chicago. Yesterday’s announcement revealed that the game’s setting has shifted to the fictional Haventon. An earthquake is no longer the cause of the disaster, which Ubisoft describes “apocalyptic.” Instead, an unnamed everyman will be searching for his family in a city devastated by “The Event.”

I Am Alive, the survival game that has been in development limbo for way too long, looks like it will finally be released! The bigger shock is that the title will be exclusively released digitally through PSN and Xbox Live. IGN reportsthat come this winter, you will have the opportunity to experience living through a yet to be identified disaster. No gameplay footage has been released yet, but a few trailers have surfaced from Ubisoft with the newest one below. Does this announcement get you excited to jump into a torn up Chicago, or does the digital distribution turn you off from the project? Let us know!Read more >
The ESRB has now provided it with an M classification and a description, indicating that a build of the game is complete enough to be rated. According to the ESRB:
This is an action game in which players assume the role of a man who must find his family in a post-apocalyptic world. From a third-person perspective, players traverse through city ruins and use a machete to kill human enemies in melee-style combat. Battles are accompanied by realistic gunfire, slashing sounds, and cries of pain; characters emit brief splashes of blood when hit.
Players have the ability to kill or knock unconscious wounded/vulnerable enemies via finishing moves (e.g., throat slashing, impaling, pistol-whipping); these scenes are highlighted by close-up camera ang…Read more >
New footage has been discovered (thanks to Pheopheonix) about our protagonist caring for a small girl, Mei. There's also Henry, who's probably a friend of Adam.

So I was online and I found this gameplay footage for I Am Alive, but it could be fake. For now it looks real to me, but I think Ubiosft is going to take it out.
The footages screens one of the survivors desperately in need medicine for him and his little daughter named May inside the mail. Before that he is talking to a camera trying to signal it to his wife. Henry also says that May is like Marry, whom he references to be maybe his other daughter who is now dead. He talks in to a Walkie Talkie to a man named Henry for how to get medicine for May, and Henry says back.......... go look in the already opended medicine crates.

A new era has just started; I, Uditore, have adopted this wiki and am thus the new Bureaucrat.
To start up a wiki, it needs a community, rules and a hierarchy. Most of these things are standard at every wiki, so I'll just list what I think this wiki needs right now.
- A sidekick admin.
- A few rollback users.
- A community starter.
- A coding professional.
- A few efficient and experienced editors.
- A news tracker.
All of these users will be in my direct wiki-environment and should thus be willing to spend some time to improve the wiki, only then, after time, we can make this place a start for something big and important.
Welcome to the wiki, new editors and users, you can help the wiki by adding information, pages, and even templates. Be reminded to use prop…

So, I found this wiki and it is completely empty and abandoned by its creator from over a year ago. Came here to find only 2 edits and one lousy article!
So I'm trying to get adoption rights to become an admin so I can do administrative stuff (editing skin, logo, other cool things). Hopefully once I can get this wiki moving, it'll look nicer and start to show up in Google...and get some users?
I'll post about this wiki on the I Am Alive forums once this wiki is looking better...it has all the content available right now, just needs template editing and image/appearance customization..
UPDATE: I got adoption rights! I'm an admin now! The skin is in place, thanks to my other wiki, deadrising.wikia.com, and I'm currently trying to get the logo t…Read more >
